Lindsay is a senior consulting actuary in Milliman’s London Life Practice. She joined Milliman in 1987.
For 30 years Lindsay has specialised in consulting to friendly societies and small to medium sized life insurance companies both in the UK and overseas. For the last 10 years Lindsay has also performed the role of primary support to the Independent Expert/Actuary in a number of Part VII transfers, transfer of engagements and Section 26 schemes of arrangement.
Lindsay is currently the Chief Actuary, Actuarial Function and With-Profits Actuary for a friendly society, positions she has held for over 10 years.  She is also an Appropriate Actuary to two UK non-directive friendly societies.  She has previously fulfilled a number of other such statutory positions primarily for friendly societies but also for smaller sized life insurance companies.
Lindsay has played an integral part of Milliman’s London office family Takaful offering, working with Milliman’s Dubai and Malaysia office. She has co-authored various research papers and presented at the International Takaful Summit, Life conference and Milliman Forum. She was a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Takaful Working Party, (2013 – 2015).
Lindsay is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (1999). She holds a Chief Actuary, Actuarial Function Holder and With-Profits Actuary Practising Certificate as issued by the Actuarial Profession.
Lindsay has a BSc in Mathematics and Management Applications from Brunel University.
