Alinma Tokio Marine company has instigated its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for approximately over 40 years through General Agent, Hussein Aoueini & Company Limited founded by Sheikh Ghassan Shaker.

Spearheaded by prominent businessmen Sheikh Yousef Abdul Latif Jameel (Toyota), Tokio Marine Nichido of Japan and Hussein Aoueini’s founder Sheikh Ghassan Shaker, Alinma Tokio Marine company had also a joint-venture composite insurance named The Arab-Eastern Insurance Company Ltd. EC which was registered as an off-shore company in Bahrain.
Alinma Tokio Marine company (ATMC) is established in accordance with the cooperative insurance regulations under the Saudi government. The main objectives of ATMC are as follows:

• To create pool funds which will support, stabilize and improve the economic or financial status of individual and corporate participants and thus allow them to enjoy the comfort of being a member of a larger virtual family.

• To contribute to sound development of national insurance industry by means of promoting co-operative insurance business and in general creating further education & employment opportunities for young and dynamic Saudi people.
