Mahesh Mistry is Senior Director, Analytics, at A.M. Best responsible for the ratings in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joined A.M. Best in 2007 as part of the analytical team, involved in the expanding ratings coverage across emerging markets, including the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. Additional responsibilities include ratings coverage for large European (re)insurance groups, developing ratings criteria, in addition to providing insights on insurance markets.

Before joining A.M. Best, Mahesh spent five years working for HSBC in its General Insurance Risk division developing products, pricing and reserving. Mahesh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics with Management from Brunel University.
