James is a Chartered Accountant whose knowledge and expertise of the Shariah finance industry proves him with a unique perspective of both the banking and insurance sectors. James has developed key relationships with Shariah scholars and industry peers at Shariah financial institutions. His experience has involved working for some of the leading accounting and banking organisations in the world where he has worked both in UK and in international markets, including Dubai, Paris and Johannesburg. He has held senior roles in organisations as diverse as Arab Bank Group, Flemings, JP Morgan Chase, Gatehouse Bank and KPMG. He qualified with Deloitte here in London.
