Ibrahim is currently working as the Director of Jaiz Takaful Insurance Plc, Director of El-Jaiz Investment and Services Ltd
and is a Trustee of both Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation and Jaiz Zakat and Waq’f Trust Fund.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Institute of Financial Accountants of the United Kingdom, He is a holder of B.Sc. Economics from the University of Ife now OAU, and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and of the Federation of Tax Advisers of the United Kingdom
He has over 30 years post-graduation working experience in the fields of Accounting and Finance, Financial Management, External and Internal Audit, Taxation and Tax Management, Property and Multidisciplinary General Management, Company Secretarial functions, Industrial relations, Human Resource Management and Project Management.
He made steady progress in his career culminating in Board and Group General Management elections/appointments, in a multinational organization from where he retired in December 2011. During this time he was the founding Executive Secretary of the Murli T Chellaram Foundation.
Other positions of responsibilities held include Chief Invigilator, Examiner and Conference Director among others with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, Rotary Clubs of Kano and Ikeja, Lagos.
A member of the national executive and technical committees that midwifed the formation of the Jaiz Bank Plc in Nigeria and its predecessor company (Jaiz International Plc), he was for a decade until March 2012 its Company Secretary.
He is a widely travelled man, who has visited major cities in the five continents, either for training, attending seminars, in the course of his duties or for vacation including religious activities.
A former President/Trustee of the Association of Muslim Professionals, he is a Trustee of the Muslim Welfare Fund and the Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation. He is equally the Chief Imam of Ago-Ibadan (II) Central Mosque in Abeokuta, Nigeria.
Alh. Ibrahim Adetokunbo Onaleye is currently the Executive Chairman/Managing Partner of the Braton and Associates Group with operations in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Ghana and the United States of America.
