Susan Dingwall is a partner in the insurance and reinsurance group at the international law firm, Norton Rose Group, which has a leading Islamic finance practice.  She has over 20 years experience of international insurance and reinsurance markets and is recognised as a leading insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution lawyer.  Susan has considerable experience of the Middle East insurance markets, having advised on a number of disputes. 

Susan specialises in takaful and has advised a number of clients in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Far East on the structuring of takaful operations, the regulation of takaful and the drafting of takaful products.  She is a regular speaker on takaful and has spoken at the World Takaful Conference, the Middle East Insurance Forum and the Middle East Insurance Summit.  She has also contributed to the Euromoney publication "Islamic Insurance - Trends, Opportunities and the Future of Takaful".
