Saif Al-Sawalha is General Insurance Manager of Weqaya Takaful Insurance & Reinsurance Company, whoplayed a dynamic role in the early stages of Weqaya formation being one of the establishing team members.

Described by his managers as Dedicated, Trustworthy and Initiative Manager who will follow up matters until implemented.On a personal level he believes that Insurance is there to serve.

He has accumulated experience in insurance industry for more than 10 years built up literally from ground starting as a Senior Surveyor & Loss Adjuster with Lloyd’s Agency in Jordan & Iraq, occupying later on a number of positions such as General Claim Manager, Reinsurance Manager and General Insurance Manager.

He also acquireddiverse experience across different functions within the Takaful Market, being responsible for developing and running Weqaya Risk Management Center, Developing Takaful Products and Providing in House Training for his colleagues.

Saif holds a Bachelor Degree in Risk Management & Insurance in addition to a number of globally recognized certification such as AINS, CII-Cert and CCSP and currently following up his studies toward the ACII.
