He first entered reinsurance in 1989 with the Best Re and was their Regional General Manager for Middle East and Gulf.  His 17-years of experience is focused mainly on Islamic reinsurance. Mr. Abouzaid holds a Masters degree in Planning and Development from Grenoble University and a Masters degree in Finance and Insurance from Institute of Development and Financing (IFID) in Tunis.
