Mr. Mohamed Altooblani is the financial controller for AIG’s entities in Bahrain. He has over four years experience in the Takaful industry and over seven years in the finance and accounting sector.

In this position, Mr. Altooblani is responsible for the Company’s financial management and activities, including Corporate Accounting, Takaful accounting standards and policies, Regulatory Communication, Treasury, Cash flow Management, and Financial Planning and Analysis.

Through his membership of the Finance Committee of the Bahrain Insurance Association; he plays a professional role in developing the Bahraini insurance and Takaful market.

Apart from the BIA membership, Mr. Mohamed is also actively taking part in the AAOIFI discussion committee that is working on updating the AAOIFI standards for the Takaful Industry worldwide.

He is actively participating and organizing professional events locally and internationally both in the field of Takaful and Finance. 

Prior to joining AIG, Mohamed was worked as an Auditor with a number of prestiges’s auditing and consulting firms.
