Born in Cairo, Egypt 1978, holds a Master. In media art histories from Donau university, Austria and a German Diplom from The Fine Art Academy in Munich ADBK and a BA in Art from the faculty of applied arts, Cairo.

Mr.Al Tawil is involved in Advertising industry since 2000, worked as S.Art director for multi-national agencies such as JWT, Ogilvy, Otventures.

His Art-work has been exhibited at galleries, festivals, and museums nationally & internationally including The New Museum of Contemporary Art in Munich, Germany (Pinakothek der moderne), The Egyptian Museum of Contemporary Art, Cairo; The ADBK fine art academy, Munich; The House of Art in Munich; The house of art gallery Frankfort; Youth Salon Cairo; The Center for Contemporary Art Cairo, Egypt; and the Uban Gallery, Munich, Germany, and many private exhibitions in Egypt,Switzerland and Germany, Al Tawil’s work is in private and public collections including The Contemporary Art Musseum, Munich, Germany and The Contemporary Art Musseum, Cairo, Egypt.

Awards include a Youth Salon Award (1999,2000, 2004), a Small pieces Exhibition (2002) and a commission from the Contemporary Art Museum in Munich for the SOLO project on their Hall (2003). His work has been featured in Papyrous Magazine (October, 2004), Alahram Newspaper (February 2004), and many other publications.
