Ahmed Ramadan has been the Managing Director and CEO at Solidarity Family Takaful – Egypt for the past four years. Previously he held positions as Deputy General Manager for ACE life Insurance in Egypt, Chief Operating Officer for ALICO – Egypt, Chief Operating Officer for ALICO – Gulf, and Policyowners Service Manager for ALICO - Gulf. Mr. Ramadan has 30 years of experience in Life Insurance and Family Takaful and is currently the Deputy President of the Life Companies Executive Board at the Egyptian Insurance Federation.

Mr. Ramadan graduated from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 1978 with a degree in accounting. He holds a Master Fellowship from the Life Office Management Association, a Fellowship in Life and Health Claims from the International Claims Association, and an Associate Insurance Agency Administration from the Life Office Management Association.
