Arabist, he is a former director of Merrill Lynch Bank Suisse. He is an international consultant on Islamic and ethical finance.

As an international consultant on ethical finance he is responsible for a number of EU ethical finance programmes. He serves as a consultant of Islamic finance to Governments, International Organizations, Public Agencies, Companies, International law firms, Banks, Management Companies, Universities, Stakeholders Associations.

Arabist, he holds a degree on International Relations at Geneva University and a master on Europrojecting at AICCRE - Venice. He has published, as an adviser of the Mayor of Palermo, 'Pilot Project Genoardo', a major multi-disciplinary work for the establishment of a Mediterranean Development Bank based on Islamic principles. He regularly contributes to the major Social and Ethical Investment Forums worldwide
