Omer Morshed is the Chief Executive of Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates, one of the leading actuarial and insurance consulting organizations in this region.

He is a Fellow of the Pakistan Society of Actuaries and of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Pakistan and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Omer is the current Vice President of the Pakistan Society of Actuaries and has served as President two times in the past. He is also the Chairman of Insurance Accounting of ICAP and the Head of the Committee formed by the SECP to revamp the Takaful Rules in Pakistan. Omer has extensive experience in consulting for the insurance sector in Pakistan and the Middle East.
