Profession: Solicitor, Lecturer in Islamic Finance and Law at Markfield Institute of Higher Education.

Involvement in Islamic Finance:

1. Sits on various Shariah Supervisory Board

2. Has authored various academic articles on Takaful, Retakaful, Securitisation, Islamic Banking, Islamic Corporate Governance, Family law (al-Ahwal al-Shakhsiyyah) and Law of Inheritance (Mirath).

3. Recently has been awarded the “Dr Zaki Badawi Award for Young Shariah Advisor and Researcher in Islamic Finance” by ICG EVENTS.

4. Has delivered many papers in international conferences
